The program “Learn and be safe!” that Educational Centre for Youth had initiated was concluded today.
The program of which main objective was to increase schoolchildren’s knowledge about rules of road and to provide their security covered 24 regions of our country.
After the lessons the schoolchildren were taught practical and theoretical trainings about rules of road within the frame of the program. They were informed about road signs, pedestrian’s and driver’s duties, as well as about their responsibility and international practice.
In general, the program covered 4800 schoolchildren.
Along with the trainings, visual aids were prepared and delivered, and several instructive actions were held within the frame of the program.
According to the information given by Elnur Akhundov, the deputy director of the Centre, some changes would be maid in the format of the program since the beginning of the next year. Thus, the Centre planned to organize automobile and bike ridings to the regions, to hold instructive actions, to stage spectacles about the bad effects of breaking rules of road and etc.
